Devill is a versatile personality of many-faceted talents whose horisons reach well over his professional field. He has scientific and artistic interests as well, both having their roots in the family's professional traditions. His professional activities embrace the fields of mathematics, informatics and web-design. He has composed several short music compositions of varying style. He writes lyrics as well. He plays several music instruments and plays an active role in young Hungarian music-life. He is further a dedicated photographer.

He has finished his studies at the Mathematics Faculty of the Eötvös Lóránd University Budapest in 2005. He has got his Master of Science with Distinction degree. He has begun in the same year a postgraduate three-year unverstity course at the Faculty of Informatics to get his Phd. He is at the same time working on a research project at the university.

His love for music showed at a very early age. He took private lessons from a music teacher for several years to developed his skills both as a composer and as a guitarist. His compositions are short ones, like clipps, and have varying style. After playing for a while in a band, he founded his own group.

His works in the field of visual communication can be classified in two groups: photographs and digital illustrations to his professional research.

Devill's photographs are reflections about today's world. His topics are varying but his approach is characteristically intellectual. His socio-photos taken on parades, rock festivals and on the streets of Budapest are not only imprints of social phenomena but are also analizing their backgrounds and nurishing soil. His shots of every-day life in Budapest reveal specific relationships between architecture and human beeing and put in lime-light connections between architecture and time. Taking pictures of nature he focuses on beauty miracolously untouched by industrialization and urbanization.

Devill's digital illustrations to his mathematical research are elevated to the rank of art by their professional execution. Topology,his special field, is the mathematical study of the properties that are preserved through deformations, twistings, and stretchings of objects. Tearing is not allowed. The visualization of the abstract reasoning is very difficult and most of the cases even impossible. If it succeds however, the result catches the attention of the viewer also as an aesthetic attraction. Sometimes the pictures at first sight evoke works of minimal-art, like those of Donald Judd. Other times the wild intersection of surfaces seems to be the stage design for a science-fiction. These illustrations are shots taken from differect angles of deeper connections in space.
